An intuitive engraved and painted stained glass art piece for a good friend of mine.

There is a famous quote: “True love is not a hide and seeks game: in true love, both lovers seek each other” - Micheal Bassey

I find that so true, and a reminder of my own life with my husband. Love is a choice, you make for another, and you make each day again.

That whatever may occur in life keep reaching out to one another, and grow together through life. Finding each other, time and time back again. There is something hidden inside the stained glass that only becomes visible when the sun shines on it: a flower in each of their hearts reaching out to another.

For a while, I wasn’t able to create, hope, or connect. I was in a spiral of anger, sadness, and grief.  Since my brother has passed it always felt like the family is incomplete. We were with 4 children and now there are 3, a very important, wonderful and loving person is missing.

Last summer I created 3 separate glass pieces, and they seem incomplete. Yet when I start to form them together they became one. Even though my brother is not physically there he Is the movement, lifeline, love between us 3. Without him, we are incomplete;

together we are ‘4’-ever one.  

An intuitively engraved and painted stained glass art piece. Created for a good friend of mine, I  have known all my life. I had this beautiful pink agate in my studio and every time I looked at it I saw her. Around this piece, I started placing colors that symbolize her passion (red), creativity (orange), Healing (blue), courage ( yellow)  and growth (green). And the little pearl ( white) underneath stands for her beauty inside and outside.  When I look at the glass art piece altogether, it represents a heart or a seed, that blossoms intensely despite some hardships.
